Alat Xplore is an Android application developed in collaboration with WEMA Bank, well-known in Nigeria. This financial tool is designed specifically for teenagers and helps them to manage their finances.
Getting started
The app provides two onboarding options. Teenagers can independently create their profiles and link them to a parent or guardian for approval. Alternatively, parents can set up accounts for their teens, who can then log in and start using the app.
Basic opportunities
Teens can request funds from their parents via the app. Once the parent approves, the teenager’s account is credited with the specified amount. It is possible to issue stylish debit cards, choosing from three unique designs. They are delivered to a preferred location.
With Alat Xplore, teenagers can purchase airtime and data via their accounts. The app allows them to save favorite phone numbers and data plans for quicker recharges. There is an opportunity to set up automated savings. It is possible to schedule daily, weekly, or monthly deductions from their accounts.
This utility helps parents track their teens’ expenses and approve fund requests. In turn, kids may learn about banking, saving, and spending.
