Bird Rides is an application for Android devices, developed by the electric scooter rental service of the same name. Using the utility, clients can find the nearest vehicle on the map and arrange a rental.
Search
In order to take advantage of all the features of the utility, you have to specify and confirm your mobile phone number. After that, you need to allow the app access to location tracking.
The map shows information about available vehicles nearby. To start the rental, you need to scan the QR code located on the handlebars of the scooter.
Note that before using the service, you need to familiarize yourself with the rules. It is desirable to wear a helmet and avoid riding on sidewalks.
Payment
The application allows you to pay for rental services using a bank card or Google Pay. After the start of the lease, approximately one US dollar is debited from the account. Further, the rental price is 15 cents for every minute of using the electric scooter or bike.
End of lease
To complete the rental, you need to find the nearest parking lot and press the corresponding button on the main page. After that, you have to close the electronic lock.
