Clickmate is an utility for Android that allows you to save the pattern of your actions on the smartphone’s screen. Then, you can use these records to activate automatic playback. In other words, the application replays your activity for repetitive tasks.
Manual Mode
It is possible to select points on the screen and assign specific actions to them, such as swipes or taps. There is an option to set the number of repetitions as well as interval or duration of the action. Additionally, the app records the activity areas.
At the time of writing, the multitouch is not available in the app. The utility operates exclusively with single-finger taps of swipes.
Please note, that every time you run the app, you can access a small widget, overlaying all windows. This control set also indicates that the application is active and recording user touches.
Recording Mode
The app allows users to run a previously saved sequence of actions. The sequence can be paused and restarted as needed.
Permissions
In order to access all mentioned functions of the utility,the following permissions have be granted:
- access to manage gestures;
- access to perform actions;
- access to work with typed text.
This app guides users to the device’s settings menu to complete this step.
Furthermore, Clickmate has to be added to the whitelist of power management applications to function correctly. It is important to mention that the app does not require root rights.
