Contact Energy is an application for Android devices, the official mobile client of the eponymous New Zealand provider. Users can view and pay natural gas, electricity, and internet bills.
Getting started
Please note that this application is intended only for existing customers of the New Zealand provider Contact Energy. At the start, you need to enter the utility using your account information.
On the main page of the app, there is a dashboard that displays the latest transactions, bills, and basic account details. It is possible to view the current balance and make payments using a debit or credit card as well as bank transfer. In addition, you can view previous invoices for 12 months with specified dates.
Consumption and readings
The utility also allows you to track the consumption of natural gas, electricity, and megabytes for an hour, a day, or a month in the form of charts. This option allows you to save and reduce costs.
Moreover, this application has a separate tab that offers you to enter electric meter readings. Also, you can update your account information and order additional services just like in Bijli Mitra.
