i nigma is an application for mobile Android devices that transforms your phone into a barcode reader. You can instantly scan a wide range of QR, EAN, UPC and other codes just like One Scanner.
Scanning
The app allows you to read and scan different barcode types such as QR, UPC, EAN and DataMatrix. There are extra ones available with SDK. This includes PDF 417, Micro QR, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar and Interleaved 2 of 5. It is possible to scan vCards or MECARDs and add obtained phone numbers to your contact list.
The reader recognizes the type of barcode itself so there is no need to make a preset beforehand. Moreover, colored or inverted codes can be read. You can also scan QR and DataMatrix codes off printed material as a quick way to access video, news, music or any other mobile content.
Additional options
i nigma has a built-in Shopper that can compare prices of books, games, CDs and other products at leading online retailer sites such as Amazon and eBay. You can create your own barcodes as well as share them via Facebook, Twitter or SMS. Furthermore, there is a history with all the previously scanned codes.
It is important to note that the application is no longer supported by the developers. However, it is still fully operational and is ready to use.
