SoCalGas is an application for Android devices, that is intended for customers of the Southern California Gas Company. This utility allows them to register, create a personal account, as well as receive and pay bills. It has a built-in map where users can find the locations of the company’s offices and refueling stations.
Getting started
At the start, you need to create an account. It can be of two types – for homeowners and for businesses. You must enter your personal information, and identification number, as well as create a password. Moreover, you can secure your profile login with fingerprint access.
Opportunities
On the main page of the application there is a menu that provides such possibilities:
- paying bills;
- viewing a map of gas stations;
- finding the location of the company’s offices and payment points.
In addition, users have the opportunity to participate in the loyalty program. It allows regular customers to receive discounts and bonuses.
Map
A separate tab contains a built-in map where users can search for the nearest gas stations. There is detailed information about them: address, phone number, flow rate, and cards accepted for payment. It is possible to lay a route to the selected place.
The map also displays the offices and payment points of the company. Their addresses, contacts, and working hours are indicated.
All of the above information can be viewed not only on the map but also in the form of a list.
Bills
Bills for consumed gas are displayed in a special section. Here you can pay for them. It is possible to attach a bank card to the application, similar to OPay.
