The main task of this application is to determine the amount of sugar contained in food and drinks that users take every day. Thus, the utility helps to reduce its consumption and lead a healthier lifestyle.
It is far from always possible to suspect that a particular food product has a large amount of hidden sugar. In order not to search for data on the packaging, it is much easier to scan the product barcode using this application.
Calculations
The utility immediately determines the amount of sugar in a given product or drink. For clarity, it is translated into cubes. You can view the same parameter in grams.
Thus, on the screen, users will see how many sugar cubes are contained, for example, in a can of Cola. The application contains information about daily norms for people of different ages.
Calculations are based on the fact that a standard sugar cube weighs 4 g. The presentation of information in a clear visual form helps users to realize the excess consumption and reduce it.
