UPHMIS is an application for Android devices created in collaboration with the online portal of the same name. It is intended for junior medical personnel. With it, nurses working in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh can enter data into patients’ records.
Basic opportunities
This utility is an official part of the monitoring system of the Ministry of Health of India. The portal named above can be used via the browser as well as through this application. Auxiliary nurse midwives, or ANMs, are health workers in rural areas of the state. The utility allows them to enter information about patients into a common database.
The data is stored in an Excel file and then uploaded to the server. It reflects information about the patient’s health status as well as various medical procedures – tests, vaccinations, and so on.
It is important to know that a stable network connection is required to upload data to the server.
