4shared is an Android application, the official mobile client of the eponymous sharing service. With it, users can search for the documents or music tracks they need and upload their own. The service library contains about 30 million files.
Basic options
4shared offers 16 GB of free space on the cloud hosting server. It can be expanded by viewing ads. Here you can upload your files – photos, video books, or documents to share them with friends and the community.
In addition, you can search for the files you need on the server and upload them to your account, as well as get links to share document management with other users. However, you can open your own videos, images, or tracks for public search, or not, leaving them for personal use.
It is possible to search content not only by name, but also by size, type, and date of uploading. The confidentiality of information is provided by a PIN code that can be used to block access to the app, just like in Dropbox.
Permissions
The application requires access to the smartphone’s memory to download files, as well as to contacts for sending messages to friends. Smart notifications are provided.
