AARP SafeTrip is an Android application designed for residents of America and allows them to track their trips. This service is developed by the American Association of Retired Persons. With this utility, users can control their driving style and develop safe habits.
Authorization
At the start, you need to register in the app. If you are a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, you have to provide your AARP account details. This will allow you to accumulate bonus points for every trip you make.

The main task of the utility is to track the basic actions of the user while driving, such as cornering, accelerating, braking, and so on. So, the app helps avoid collisions and develop good habits.
It is worth noting that the collected information is stored only on your smartphone and is not sent to insurance companies or any other third parties. This tool provides a score for each trip you make and allows you to determine what driving skills you need to change or improve.
AARP members can enjoy the app’s advanced features such as earning 50% more points and comparing their scores with friends and family. You can get achievements for not hard braking and accelerating, not using your phone while driving, and so on. It is possible to track your trips on the map and view the results of other users. All this information is displayed in the Dashboard tab.
The Trips section stores the history of your rides. There are maps showing the route distance and travel time, similar to Visorando. Also, you can view the leaderboard on a separate page.
