Airam SmartHome is an Android application that helps users manage smart home products of the eponymous Finnish company. You can add devices, set up scenes and remotely control gadgets, similar to Google Home.
Configuration
You need to create an account using your email before accessing the app. There are also a couple of permissions that have to be allowed. In order to add devices to your smart home system, you have to make sure that your WiFi signal is good. It is recommended to enable GPS location and Bluetooth to ensure the best connection to the network.
It is possible to automatically scan for gadgets or add them manually. There are bulbs, ceiling lights, LED strips, light strings, smart plugs, smoke detectors, motion sensors, sirens, cameras, doorbells and more. Each one contains a mini tutorial on how to pair the device.
Remote control
With the help of the utility, it is easy to remotely manage home appliances and share them with family members. You can add your house with different rooms or join the existing one. Moreover, Airam SmartHome allows you to create scenes. They can be executed automatically according to conditions. It is also possible to control multiple devices with one tap.
