AL Quran Kareem is an Android application that provides users with a digital version of the Holy Quran. The utility offers translations in various languages for broader understanding. Additionally, the app features melodious audio recitations and tools to aid in daily Islamic practices.
Navigation
The app is intuitively organized into sections and tabs for ease of navigation. Similar to iPray, here the main page features a prayer schedule reminder, which is accurate only when location access is granted to the app. Additionally, the homepage displays Allah’s names, six Kalimas, Quran Sajdahs, reading suggestions, and the Favorites section.
In addition to the homepage, the app features four more tabs, each dedicated to a specific function:
- Qibla;
- calendar;
- Salah;
- Tasbih;
The Qibla tab in the app features a functional compass that indicates the direction towards the Kaaba in the Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca, which is essential for Muslims during prayer times.
The Tasbih feature in the app allows users to count their repetitive prayers by tapping a button on the screen. It includes options to reset and save the Tasbih count, enabling users to return to it later for continuation or review.
