Start
After launching the app, you have to sign in or create a new Amazon profile. There are options to use your email or phone number for account confirmation.

The utility allows you to perform basic activities on your smartphone using voice commands. All you have to do is address a voice assistant by name and say your request.
Alexa allows you to remotely turn on music, check the weather forecast, and create a shopping list in the online store. It is possible to control your household appliances, such as lights, kettles, or other parts of the Smart Home system. In addition, you can ask the assistant to send texts and make calls to other users of the app.
There is a separate tab, where you can find out what your assistant can do. It is possible to learn new commands and create a routine for each day.

The developers claim that Alexa is capable of adapting to users’ voices, timbre, and pronunciation for a better quality of command recognition.
Please note, that the majority of mentioned functions of the app are available only in conjunction with an Amazon Echo smart speaker.
