ALHOSN is an Android application that allows UAE nationals, visitors, and residents to receive PCR test results on their phones. This utility was designed by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Registration
To start using the app you have to log in with your Emirates or Unified ID. There is an option to register as a Visitor. The UID can be found on your entry stamp or the last page of your passport. You can ask the immigration desk at the airport or visit the ICP website to get it.
As of this writing, pre-registration is in beta testing. Currently, the utility only accepts EU DCC vaccination QR codes. The developers claim that other countries will be added soon.
To get test results and vaccination records you have to scan a unique QR code provided by medical authorities.
Passes
You can add all required passes to the app. There is a green pass as well as travel passes with test results and vaccination.
The Green pass is designed for everyone who lives in or visits UAE. Anyone with the required vaccination status and the test result will get the Green code to visit the public places with mandatory Alhosn Green status.
