Aluratek Smart Frame is a companion application for Android designed to control the eponymous device. It is possible to take photos and videos as well as share them. This utility offers Wi-Fi connectivity and a user-friendly interface for managing your gallery.
Getting started
At the start, you need to link your equipment to your smartphone. Please note that both your devices must be in the coverage area of the same Wi-Fi network. Next, you need to go to the photo frame settings, find its ID and enter it in a special application window.
In addition, you have to create an account and come up with a unique username.
Menu and options
The main menu located on the homepage allows you to take photos and videos with your smartphone’s camera. You can immediately transfer files to the memory of the frame.
There is the Files tab that provides access to the smartphone gallery. Here you can select any photos and videos to send to the photo frame. The Aluratec Smart Frame supports a variety of media formats, including JPEG, BMP, and PNG.
In the same way, your family members can install this application, sync it with the frame and share their pictures.
Please note, that the owners of Aluratec Smart Frames get access to 5 GB of free cloud storage. It allows you to back up photos and videos to save the most important moments.
