ANDRAX is an Android app for evaluating the security of the system. The utility provides pentesting on a smartphone and allows you to quickly assess the cyberattack risks.

With this application, you can conduct network penetration tests and identify potential weaknesses of devices connected to it. ANDRAX is designed to act like a Linux distribution dedicated to pentesting but is not an emulator of this OS.

The app is an open-source platform developed for performing ethical hacking. It is a comprehensive pentesting solution that supports over 200 different cyberattack tools. You can try Metasploit Framework, ARPSpoof, Nmap, Hydra, Aircrack NG Tools, and others. It is possible to run penetration tests, including information gathering, scanning, packet crafting, password recovery, or exploitation.

Installation instructions

The application can only be installed on smartphones and tablets with root user rights. It is worth noting that at least seven gigabytes of free drive memory are required to have in your mobile device along with an unlocked kernel and bootloader.

Samsung smartphones have certain restrictions that can prevent ANDRAX from working correctly. To solve the problem, you may change the kernel or use other firmware. After the installation and launch, the app downloads additional files. Similarly, the system automatically configures the necessary settings.

Please note that the application may be unstable. There is a risk of encountering critical problems when installing on a mobile device. By the way, you can quickly create a backup of your system or install a new firmware using the CWM Recovery app.
