Anistream is an Android application that allows users to choose from a catalog and watch various anime – both movies and series. There is a built-in player.
Content library
The main page of the application contains an extensive content library. It is sorted into three sections:
- dubbed films;
- with subtitles;
- latest releases.
You may navigate between tabs with swipes from right to left. Tapping on the name or picture of the series or movie opens a page with a brief description of the video. Here you can read its name, find out the year of release, episode number, and so on.
Watching
This application has a built-in player. It works in landscape mode. Users can adjust the video quality and audio volume. It is possible to rewind movies and stop them. Moreover, the utility offers to stream anime on TV.
Anistream allows you to bookmark the episodes where you have stopped. There is a search bar that helps to find the desired video by name. The app menu allows you to view a list of all available anime. Also, there are links to the developers’ contacts in the social network Discord.
Please note that there are no ads in the application.
Testing
Unfortunately, during testing, it was noticed that the application does not display the content library and does not perform the declared functions. Apparently, the developers don’t support it anymore.
