App Freezer is an application for Android devices that speeds up users’ smartphones by smart cleaning the background processes. It requires no permission to be able to do this.
Improving performance
The application is intended to help users improve the performance of their mobile devices. It freezes the background processes and thus cleans up the RAM. In order to use it, you do not need a root permission.
After the launch, App Freezer will display the activity list with all your system and custom apps. By tapping on a desired name you will force close its process. It is also possible to freeze all of the utilities in the list at once by clicking the round button in the bottom right corner.
To defrost the app, you have to launch it normally. There is a whitelist to which you can add the programs that you do not want to be frozen.
Important note
Please note that App Freezer does not support Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO and other MIUI-based smartphones. If you have the device of said brands, you can try downloading Activity Launcher instead.
It is also worth mentioning that freezing some important system applications may make the basic functionality of your phone unusable. So make sure you use this feature with caution.
