ArtRage is an Android application for drawing with a smartphone. The utility allows you to use the possibilities of digital graphics and painting.
Drawing
It is possible to upload images to the app. They can be traced for further drawing. The function of rotating and scaling the canvas is available.
The utility is designed for the digital simulation of painting and graphics. It allows you to create visually three-dimensional and different-intensity strokes. It is possible to use layers. You can make them invisible, set the transparency and use the relief blending mode.
Moreover, the layers can be cleared, deleted, merged, converted, duplicated, or exported. The application allows you to save finished pictures, as well as share them with friends via social media or publish on PEN.UP.
Tools
The application offers a built-in palette and a tonal stretch of each color. There are tools for digital painting and graphics: flat and watercolor brush, spray gun, spatula, roller, eraser, sparkles, chalk, pencil, marker, liner, and tube. It is possible to adjust the size, degree of pressure, angle of inclination, and amount of paint.
These tools help to reproduce effects identical to real ones, such as watercolor bleed and brushstroke blending. There is a fill for quickly coloring the background and an eyedropper that determines the previously used color. Actions performed can be undone and redone.
