Atlas One is a global public app for Android that keeps the users safe, wherever they go. This service operates in Canada and the United States. It applies GPS data to determine the users’ location.
Account
To enter this application, you need to log in. You have to provide personal data, phone number, and an email address. The utility will also ask permission to use GPS navigation.
Alerts and map
Once you share your location the app will send you safety alerts related to nearby incidents occurring around. Also, you can add your favorite places and the utility will notify you about all occasions. It is possible even if you are not there.
There is an icon for managing the alerts. It is on the right corner of the screen. To access your profile and settings you have to tap on the button on the left side.
On the main page of the app, there is a service coverage map. It currently operates in the US and Canada only.
Explore
The Explore option shows up at the bottom of the screen. It provides you access to important safety information around you.
You can find out the address of the nearest police stations and government agencies. It is possible to chat with a virtual officer. There is up-to-date news about the criminal situation in the region, as well as about the presence of infections, quarantines, emergencies, and so on. To get weather alerts you may use WeatherSmart app.
