Backpage is an application for Android, which is an unofficial mobile client of the web resource of the same name. The utility allows users to view ads posted on it. This service is intended for US citizens only.

Viewing ads
The utility allows you to view numerous ads from the above web resource. There are tabs with such categories:
- cars;
- furniture;
- rental of property;
- jobs and so on.
Users can select the ads they are interested in and look for more details. If this post concerns the sale of any goods, their photos and descriptions are provided, as well as the price is indicated. It is possible to view all images in enlarged form.
Each ad has a location. Thus, users can search for items that are sold nearby. They may specify a city or state. The application has a built-in map that allows them to get directions.
Clients and ad owners can communicate with each other in a text chat and clarify the details of transactions. Posts viewed by the user are placed in a separate tab. There is a list of favorites.

At the moment, the application is inactive, as is the website itself. Apparently, the utility is no longer supported by the developers.
