BeReal is an Android application, which is a social network of a new format. It invites users to create an account and share instant photos taken at a randomly selected time. The utility does not support filters and effects.
Opportunities
This application allows users to communicate and share life moments. Its main function is to post real shots.
Each user is prompted to take a photo of what they are currently doing within a short 2-minute interval. The time is chosen randomly throughout the day.
Please note that both the main and front cameras of the smartphone will be involved. At the same time, you take a picture of what is in front of you and a selfie.
Applying of filters and effects is not provided. Thus, users can share their real, unadorned photos with the community. If someone does not take a picture at the specified time, their friends will be notified about this.
Account and feed
In order to use the application, you need to create an account that will be linked to an email address.
The feed with photos is located on the main page of the utility. Text chats are provided for correspondence with friends. It is possible to subscribe to their accounts and view their publications. As a reaction to the photo, you can use emoji. Also, you may write comments.
The application stores the moments captured by users in the Memories section.
