Bison Tracker is an Android application developed for North Dakota State Bison fans. Users can anonymously interact with each other and check into various places while they are heading to the NCAA Division I Football Championship.
Functionality
The application allows Bison fans to check-in on their way to the NCAA Division I Football Championship game. There are real-time updates of the thousands of NDSU supporters heading to Frisco, Texas, for the National League as well as those watching remotely from other parts of the country.
Bison Tracker contains a map with locations of Bison fans. You can scroll through the list of interesting places. It is also possible to submit the nearby venues and attach a comment.
Furthermore, the utility accompanies the NDSU Athletics mobile app. Similar to Sportsnet, it lets you follow your favorite teams as well as customize your notifications for the latest news, scores and live streaming.
Fan name
At the first launch of the application, you will get a unique fan name. It should be noted that the utility keeps all the interactions completely anonymous. The service does not reveal any personally identifying information, too.
