Brekete Family is an Android application that is designed to listen to the reality radio program of the same name. It is broadcast over the air as well as on the web and via social media platforms in Nigeria, similar to Wazobia Xtra.
About
This program is dedicated to the protection of human rights. It first aired in 2009 on Kiss FM radio Abuja. Currently, it is broadcasted on 104.5 on Crowther Love FM in Nigeria’s capital. The stream takes place every working day from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. It is available for listening in the territories of Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi, and Kaduna states.
Worldwide broadcasting is carried out through an online streaming channel.

On the main page of the application, there is a button with an arrow that allows you to listen to the live air of Brekete Family. There is also a menu that allows you to:
- learn more about the radio program and its broadcast;
- read the latest news;
- fill out the registration form of the community;
- take part in a public opinion poll.
The news section is updated daily. Here are articles that are devoted to reparations, the fight for human rights, fundraising for the disadvantaged, arbitration courts, scholarship programs, and so on.
Brekete Family allows users to ask questions, report corruption, seek redress, and so on. There is news dedicated to investigating human rights violations and corporate offenses.
Please note that this radio program is broadcast in Pidgin English.
