BT SmartTalk is a mobile application for Android devices that allows users to save on outgoing calls. It has been developed in collaboration with the renowned British Telecom provider. The service uses both mobile connections and Wi-Fi networks.
Usage
This application can only be used by owners of residential telephone lines connected to a British Telecom operator. The utility allows them to make calls from their smartphones to the numbers of various providers. At the same time, communication will be charged at the rates of fixed telephony.
Thus, the service allows you to save on outgoing calls, as well as in roaming.
Account
The application allows you to connect up to five users to one account. Each of them will have to download the utility to their smartphone and log in to a single profile using a username and password.
Notes
Please note that the application is currently inactive. British Telecom has closed this service. It happened after the billing for outgoing calls in the EU was canceled, and the cost of roaming was significantly reduced.
As a result, the registration of new accounts in the SmartTalk service is suspended, and existing users cannot make calls through the application. They are advised to choose a valid BT Mobile provider plan.
