Profile
In order to access the service, it is necessary to create a profile. You can set it up quickly by login via Facebook account. It will provide your name, age and photos. In addition, it is possible to sign up through your phone number.
It is strongly recommended to fill out offered questions and tell a little about yourself to increase chances of being matched with people.
Matching
Coffee Meets Bagel has two main sections — Suggested and Discover. The former will let you see all the matches for the day. Rather than swiping, you will receive up to 21 profiles each noon, which can be liked or passed. The algorithm picks ones based on your preferences and interests.
The latter allows you to browse through profiles of users who meet the criteria you specify in the search filters. It also shows you whether or not someone liked you. If they did, you may tap on the conversation icon to start chatting.
It is possible to text each other for a duration of 8 days only. Thus, you will be more inspired to swap phone numbers or make plans to meet.
