Cox UC is an application for Android that allows users to connect their business account and make calls. This service is only available for customers of Cox Communications.
Business calls
Customers of a well-known American company can enter their account to make and receive work calls. The utility integrates a smartphone with IP Centrex Seat or VoiceManager Line. This allows users to talk to people over the phone with their business mobile number provided by Cox Communications.
It is possible to browse a contact list and connect with your coworkers on the go. You can make and receive calls as if you are in your office, regardless of where you are at the moment.
Just like in Rogers One Number, there is a page with call buttons where you can enter the mobile number. In addition, the app has a section with text messages. It is possible to see who you have chatted with lately.
Settings
There is an option to adjust settings for ease of usage. You can activate the do not disturb mode when you would like to avoid answering the calls. It is also possible to block your Caller ID in case you do not want a call receiver to see your mobile number.
And last but not least, the app allows you to forward calls when you are busy or unreachable.
