DigDeep is a utility for Android that allows you to search for and recover lost or deleted images on your device. This application scans the internal storage of the smartphone to detect and restore photos.
Claimed Capabilities
This smartphone software requests permission to access media files and the device’s gallery to conduct a detailed scan of folders. The app locates photos and displays them on the screen, allowing users to restore them. It is necessary to select the folder and the desired files, which will be highlighted in orange. After pressing the Restore button, the photos will reappear in the gallery and be saved in a separate folder.
Real functionality
During the testing the app displays all the pictures from the smartphone’s memory on the screen. In other words, the utility does not find lost photos, but can locate images deleted from messenger chats. Thus, you can restore mentioned images from thumbnails, but with significantly reduced quality. As such, the DigDeep does not perform most of its claimed functions. There are no menus, settings, or any additional options.
Please note that the app contains a large amount of advertising content. Users are prompted to install various applications from the same and other developers.
