Dilemma Game is a mobile application for Android, which is designed for providing open discussions by researchers. The utility is developed in collaboration with Erasmus University Rotterdam and is intended for the wide scientific community.
Basic options
The main function of the app is the creation of dilemmas and discussion of them. Users can ask the community a question, describing the problem they have encountered, and then get multiple answers to it.
There is an opportunity to follow the discussion, find out the opinion of the majority, and also receive expert advice.
Modes
There are two modes in this app – solo and group. In the first, you can individually browse the dilemmas and vote on your preferred answer. After that, you will be able to see how others have answered the dilemma. You can view the comments from experts.
Also, you may propose a dilemma that you faced yourself or you could imagine. It will be reviewed by an expert and might be added to the utility. Please note, that each problem has been classified into three categories: Researcher position, Strategy, and Phase.
Group mode allows users to discuss dilemmas in small groups. It works best when the participants are together or via an online connection.
To work in group mode one user can create a special room. Others may join the disput by entering a code. For anonymous discussions, the Omegle app is more suitable.
