This application is developed by Zya, a music technology company. The service uses advanced text-to-speech technology to turn phrases into singing messages. You can pick a popular song and add your own lyrics or use the pre-existing ones. Similar to Straight Outta Meme Maker, the utility lets you share the final result with others through social media platforms.
Ditty provides a vast library of songs from various genres. Pop, rock, and hip-hop are just a few examples presented. You can also add your own music and create custom songs. The videos generated by the app have a comic feel to them. It is possible to change the characters and backgrounds to make them more personal.
Important remark
Despite its popularity, Ditty faced some privacy issues as it collected user data, including contacts and location information. The company also faced copyright infringement allegations as some users added materials without permission. As a result, Zya announced that it would shut down Ditty in October 2019.
