DJI GO is an Android app designed for DJI drone owners, enabling them to connect their flying devices using smartphones. The app necessitates Bluetooth pairing between the smartphone and the device for seamless synchronization.
Capability
Please note that this app, identified by the 4.0 mark on its icon, supports only a specific range of drones launched after the P4 model. Similar to DJI GO 4, these include the Mavic Pro, Inspire 2, Phantom 4 Pro, and Phantom 4.
The app provides support for various features tailored to the aforementioned drones, including:
- completely redesigned control interface;
- high-quality image transmission within the drone’s operational radius;
- camera parameter settings adjustment;
- on-smartphone editing for uploaded photos or videos;
- media editor with built-in templates and music options;
- onboard information recording during flight to the smartphone.
Setup
To start using the app, you are supposed to follow a couple of steps. First, you have to make sure to download additional materials to your smartphone, which exceed 100 MB in size. After that, you need to either log in with your existing DJI account or create a new one if you don’t have it yet. Only after completing these steps may you begin synchronizing with your drone.
