Drive Link is an Android application whose purpose is to provide comfortable and safe driving. This utility supports Mirrorlink technology and displays the contents of the car computer on the smartphone screen. It is possible to answer calls, listen to music, and get directions. Thus, the utility can perform the functions of a navigator.
How to use
GPS must be enabled for the utility to work correctly. The application can work in two modes – Stand Alone and Connected. In the first case, it will operate in the background. In the second, the utility is synchronized with the car’s onboard computer using Mirrorlink technology. Thus, the content of its display is shown on the screen of the smartphone.
Useful options
In addition, the application gains access to the music library of the mobile device and allows you to listen to tracks. There is a built-in player. You have the ability to answer calls, send SMS and receive notifications.
The application synchronizes with the calendar and allows you to display upcoming events and locations attached to them. It is possible to track routes.
There is the weather forecast for the current area, similar to Bay News 9. Users can create shortcuts to frequently visited locations or favorite music tracks.
Remark
Unfortunately, at the moment the application is not active and does not perform the declared functions. Apparently, the developers have stopped supporting it.
