eSalvar is an Android application intended to trace COVID-19 spread in Philippine Naga city. The system will alert you via call or SMS, in case you have been in contact with an infected person.
Registration
In order to start using the utility, you should login first. For this purpose, the establishments should register at the corresponding website to be verified with government records. In the meanwhile, individuals need to provide some personal information and home address. The service does not require ordinary users to have a smartphone.
Tracing system
The application is a COVID-19 contact tracing system of the City Government of Naga. The service requires commercial establishments and offices to scan the QR ID’s of individuals entering or exiting their premises. With its help, the healthcare organizations can contain the pandemic and stop the spread to ensure that every citizen is safe.
eSalvar as a system has three components. The first one is checking in and out of individuals at establishments. Next is the contact tracing in case someone tested positive for COVID-19. The last step is the alerting of people who were around for appropriate health precautions and intervention by the City Health Office.
