This app is made by the Indian government for its residents who seek medical assistance. The service offers teleconsulting physicians with a wide range of expertise. Similar to PPD Patient, it is possible to remotely talk with a doctor at any time via online chat or video call.
eSanjeevani enables free of cost, safe, and structured video based clinical consultations between a physician and a patient. Moreover, you can ask your doctor to write you an e-Prescription. It is also possible to attach documents and photos during your call.
How to get a call
In order to get a consultation with a doctor, you need to register. First, you have to fill in a form and verify your mobile number to get a Patient ID. Then, you need to request a Token and upload health records, if there are any.
Closer to the turn, the service sends a SMS notification asking you to login using your Patient ID and Token. Then, you are placed at the end of the existing queue. As the doctor is assigned to you, “CALL NOW” button gets activated. You have 2 minutes to tap on it and start a video call.
