FaceTime is Apple’s online video calling service developed for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android, and Windows. Thanks to this utility, users can make video calls and chat.
Communication
FaceTime is a video and audio calling software designed by Apple. The utility allows you to communicate over WiFi and mobile internet connection. It is possible to create video conferences, similar to ToTok. In addition, you can make group audio calls with up to 32 participants at the same time.
During video calls, you can switch to the main and front cameras. Furthermore, the utility allows you to apply various effects and filters to your video. It is possible to add animated emojis and stickers.
All previous FaceTime connections are automatically added to the recent calls list on your smartphone. You can put users from your contacts to Favorites for quick access.
Connection
You have to enter the phone number or the email address of another user to start the chat. There are options to input this information manually or pick one from your contact list. Only then you can make a call or start messaging.
During the global conference for developers WWDC, Apple representatives announced that FaceTime online service will become available for Android and Windows users. It is known that the feature will work through a web version of the service. Users can join video meetings by getting invitation links through a mobile browser.
Please note that there are no plans to release a separate application for Android mobile devices. A full release of the feature is likely to take place this fall.
