Fast Tube is an application for Android devices, which is an alternative mobile client of popular video hosting. It allows you to watch YouTube videos, search for interesting channels and subscribe to them. This utility differs in the simplicity of the interface, the presence of useful functions, and the minimum amount of memory occupied.
Useful options
In addition to the standard Home tab with a feed of published videos, the application has a Discovery section. It allows you to search for content related to a particular region.
You can use GPS or specify the location on the built-in map. In this case, the app will select for you videos related to your location thematically or according to the place of residence of the author.
Searching and sharing
The main page contains sections with videos, channels, and playlists. You can switch between them with swipes. Moreover, you may search content by authors, titles, and keywords.
This application allows you to like, leave comments, and subscribe to channels. To do this, you need to log in to the official YouTube profile.
You can share links to interesting videos through social networks and instant messengers. It is possible to view the ratings of channels and clips.
Note
The developers of the utility promise a quick transition to the viewing mode and high-speed video loading. This is achieved by optimizing the app. Unfortunately, Fast Tube does not perform the declared functions. Apparently, it has been discontinued.
