FireChat is an Android messaging app that works without an Internet connection or cell service. This utility allows you to send and receive texts from other users.
How does it work?
FireChat does not require an Internet connection. It is possible to text other users via Bluetooth. Overall, the app creates a mesh network that allows you to chat. In other words, this utility is quite convenient in situations when you can not use other software like Telegram, Skype, or Yahoo Messenger.
On average, the distance from one mobile device to the second one should not be more than 60 meters for successful transmission. Keep in mind that the more smartphones connected to the application, the wider the network they create.

Using this utility, you can create a group and private chats. To send confidential information, this app encrypts the message until it reaches the final destination. In addition, it is possible to share pictures.
In general, FireChat is a convenient solution for students, friends, organizers or participants of cultural or sports events. This utility allows you to stay in touch in offline zones.
Please note that we experienced system errors during the testing of the app. There is no option to log in or create an account. However, this issue can be temporary and might be fixed with future updates.
