FireDL is a mobile application for Android that helps you to save documents and files to the internal memory of your mobile device. The utility allows you to download them from a link, as well as using FTP.
Basic opportunities
The main task of this application is to save images, archives, documents, and so on to a mobile device. To do this, you have to enter a link to the required file in a window. Next, you need to click the dedicated button.
Then, the download progress will be shown on the screen as a red bar. Users will be able to track the size of the saving file as a percentage. They can interrupt the process of receiving a document at any time. There is the Cancel button for this.
The Help icon prompts the user to go to the personal page of the application developer. Unfortunately, the promised background information is missing there.
Useful options
In addition, the application allows you to provide access to the file system of your smartphone via FTP. To do this, the utility generates the server address and specifies the port number, username, and password. You need to enter them on another device connected to the network from which access will be made.
Remark
Please note that the application is distributed as open source software. Users can apply it in the utilities they create.
