Flashfood is an Android app that helps American residents keep track of food discounts in a variety of retail chains and well-known grocery stores.
General information
It is worth noting that this utility works in the Midwest and East coast of the US. The service cooperates with Family Fair, GIANT, Martins, Tops Friendly Markets, and other stores. This app keeps track of products that are nearing the end of their shelf life and are offered at deep discounts.
Discounts and orders
First, you need to register and create an account to receive notifications and special offers. The Explore tab allows you to search for the nearest supermarkets that offer discounted food. It is possible to view a range of items with a limited expiration date, select the ones you need and immediately place an order. The Shopping Cart section is designed for this.
You can pay for the order directly from the application using the attached bank card. It is possible to pick up products from a special Flashfood Zone located in the store of your choice. The utility allows you to calculate your savings and keeps statistics of your purchases in the Savings tab.
