FLIR Cloud is the Android mobile app that allows users to watch security camera videos wherever they are. The official utility helps them to connect the surveillance system to the eponymous service. Please note that it is cross-platform. There are also clients for Windows and Mac.
Getting started
It is necessary to connect your video surveillance system to the utility. First, you have to tap on the Plus button. To synchronize the service with the camera, you need to enter the device ID or the QR code printed on its packaging. Next, your task is to specify the port, username, and password.
Viewing and recording
The application allows you to view live streams from multiple cameras in split-screen mode. It is possible to record video and save files in the internal memory of the smartphone. In addition, you can take photos.
Also, during the recording, you may zoom in, use the fisheye effect, change the camera angle, and turn the microphone on and off.
Video can be saved with or without sound.
Additionally
The application can send notifications to the user if a motion has been detected on the selected cameras.
Please note that there are certain requirements for the correct usage of this service. High-speed network access is required to view live videos from the cameras. In this case, only two devices can be connected at the same time.
