FORScan is an Android application designed for quick diagnosis of some automotive modules. The utility allows you to scan auto brands such as Lincoln, Mazda, Ford, and Mercury.
Requirements
In order to use this application, you have to synchronize it with an OBD2 or ELM327 adapter. The utility retrieves data from it via connections such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB. It should be noted that automobiles from any other brands, apart from those mentioned above, are not supported by this software. The program includes a list of recommended adapters.
Diagnostic Capabilities
The main functions of FORScan include:
- reading errors and determining their codes;
- resetting fault information;
- scanning the configuration of electronic blocks located on the vehicle;
- reading data from control modules;
- testing for functionality checks;
- performing certain service procedures.
Reprogramming and configuring module options are not provided.
