Ghostery is a browser app for Android that is all about fast and private web surfing. The utility lets you securely look for information online. Please note that the app is built on Firefox Fenix and it works with the DuckDuckGo search engine.
Navigation
When you open the app, you can see a homepage with a search bar and personalized quick access icons to popular sites like Wikipedia and YouTube. It is possible to customize these icons, save bookmarks, and sync them with your computer. Moreover, the search is powered by DuckDuckGo for quick and private surfing. There is an option to use voice search and scan QR codes.
There is a menu button at the top-right corner of the screen. Here you can find bookmarks, browsing history, and settings.
Privacy
A privacy settings section in the menu allows users to block trackers on websites and adjust permissions for web pages. Private browsing mode prevents gathering user information, and enables automatic browsing data clearing.
