GL to SD is an application for Android which is designed to transfer large games from the internal memory of a smartphone to a microSD card. This utility works correctly if the device has superuser rights.
Purpose
The application may be needed by those users who own smartphones with a small amount of internal memory. Most games, during the installation process, unpack data into certain folders in the ROM of the smartphone, for example, Android/obb. These files can be quite large.
It can be critical when users install several similar games with a large amount of data. In this case, they can use GL to SD app to solve the problem.
Folders creating
The utility allows you to transfer data to an external SD card by creating a specially mounted folder on it. This app was originally designed to port games created by Gameloft, but it works with other titles as well.
At the start, you need to make sure that superuser rights have been obtained on the mobile device. Next, you have to launch the application and view a list of all games available for transfer.
After the folders are mounted, you may launch titles using the Play button directly from this utility.
It is possible to view a list of all mounted folders. There are a number of useful settings. Users can change the interface language, edit the path to the SD card, change folder names and unmount them under certain conditions, for example, in the case of a USB connection.
Note
Please note that the application is not compatible with other similar programs or scripts that allow you to mount folders on an external memory card.
