Dictionaries
This utility offers you access to popular dictionary programs. Additionally, the app supports offline dictionaries in formats such as Lingoes, Lingvo, Dictd, Babylon, and StarDict. You can also use files in various formats.
In order to add dictionaries, you have to download them from the official resources and then move them to the GoldenDict folder. Please note that the utility automatically scans the storage of your device and displays index files.
GoldenDict includes a feature that prevents the mobile device from entering sleep mode during the dictionary indexing process.
Translation
The dictionary content is displayed on the screen with original formatting, graphics, and sounds. It is possible to efficiently work with up to ten dictionaries at the same time. The utility quickly retrieves data from about 100 sources.
This app includes a special system that recognizes text regardless of case and punctuation. There is a floating window mode. Thus, you can select a default reading app, and it will work in windowed mode.
GoldenDict can translate words and phrases from the clipboard. All you have to do is simply long-tap the “Search” button.
