Handy Light is a mobile application for Android devices that allows you to use your smartphone as a torch. The utility uses the phone’s screen or its LED flash. Accordingly, the light can be emitted either forward from the user or back toward him.
Themes
The flashlight has two design themes – a metal panel or an old kerosene lamp. This option can be changed using the settings icon, which is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Indicators
On the main page of the application, there is an indicator of the flashlight usage time and an icon that displays the battery status of the smartphone. Both indicators of them can be disabled. Unfortunately, there is no timer to turn off the torch.
According to the developers, this utility consumes the minimum battery power of the smartphone.
Modes
In addition to a uniform glow, a strobe mode is provided. It can be used to give SOS signals. The torch flashes 2 to 8 times per second. This option can be selected with a special slider at the bottom of the screen.
There is an icon with the smartphone image. It is located near the settings button. With it, you can switch the lighting direction to forward or back. Please note that lighting with the LED flash will be brighter and more focused.
