How it works
There is an option to turn a mobile device into a motion, sound, vibrations and light detector. In other words, the utility allows you to watch for unexpected guests and unwanted intruders. It is possible to protect your privacy when necessary.
You can get instant notifications in case of intrusion events. This is especially useful for those, who are professional journalists and human rights defenders. Haven is also suitable for protecting personal spaces when there is risk of forced disappearance. Moreover, if you would like to report a crime online, it is possible to download SAPS. The application allows you to share the information anonymously.
When you run Haven for the first time, you can check all basic instructions and activate it anytime you want. There is a timer which turns a smartphone into a detector in 30 seconds. After, you monitor each movement, sound and noise. Though, it is better to have an extra mobile device, so that you can have one for monitoring and another for personal use.
Settings
This section allows you to adjust some parameters so that you can use the application as conveniently as possible. There is an option to choose a front or back camera for monitoring as well as to select a folder where you store captured media.
