HDMiniCam is an Android application that allows you to broadcast video from IP cameras. In addition, you can also access the audio of the file.
Connection
Similar to KoneCam, HDMiniCam connects the IP camera to the smartphone using WiFi. In order to add a new device, you have to tap on the eponymous icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
To make a connection, you can run an automatic network scan to search for all available devices or simply enter an IP address and password. The utility also allows you to add to the camera by scanning a QR code.
Video
The Live Video section displays broadcasts from connected cameras in real-time. By clicking on the image, you can expand it to full screen. The application also allows you to access the camera settings. Furthermore, the utility supports two-way sound transmission. In order to use the intercom, you have to make sure that the camera is equipped with a microphone.
Users can record video and audio as well as take screenshots within the app. It is possible to save data in the internal memory of the mobile device and also on external media. To ensure that the image on the mobile device does not turn off when watching a video for a long time, you can use the PowerManager WakeLocks feature.
Notifications
The utility allows you to set up notifications when motion or sound sensors are triggered. All messages are stored in a separate section. To check the recent activity, please select the device from the list.
