HSL is an application for Android that allows you to plan your journeys and purchase tickets. There is an option to get information about traffic.
Trip planner
With this utility you can reserve tickets for public transports online. It is possible to explore various places on the map and build a route to these places. You may also complete payment for rides via your credit card. Similar to SBB, HSL allows you to buy monthly travelcards in a few steps.
Public transport tickets
You can explore routes and stops on the map or set your location and destination. It is possible to add your home, work and other places that you visit oftenly. There is an option to attach your credit card to book a ticket and complete payment online.
HSL sends you notifications about your planned trips and arrival time of buses and trains. You may also read various information about roads and public transports. The application helps you to choose the easiest way to get to your destination. Moreover, it is possible to check the traffic situation to build your route.
If you purchase a ticket in the HSL, there is an option to show your QR Code and get permission to ride. Please note that the application is available only in Helsinki and you cannot use the utility outside this area.
