Humax Aura is an application for Android devices that integrates with the smart set-top box of the same name. It is possible to broadcast live TV shows, view a TV guide, and record your favorite programs.
Remark
Please note that this utility is only compatible with Humax Aura devices. The service works in 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks but you can also use a Wi-Fi connection.
Broadcasting and recording
With this app, you may broadcast live TV shows to your smart devices that support Chromecast, similar to OnDemand. There is an option to connect several gadgets to one account. In addition, it is possible to set reminders for your favorite programs and record them. Videos can be stored on your set-top box as well as on your smartphone for viewing on the go. The application allows you to sort and search content by titles and keywords.
There is a seven-day TV guide with brief descriptions of movies, TV shows, and so on. It also displays the name of the TV channel, the date, as well as the start and end time of the program. You can schedule viewing and recording in advance by creating a timetable in a separate tab.
The application has a built-in player to view the recording. It is possible to rewind the video, adjust the sound, set a pause, and so on. Landscape and portrait modes are provided.
