InYourArea is an application for Android devices that offers UK residents a collection of up-to-date local news. The utility is an aggregator that combines publications from well-known web sources.
Authorization
In order to receive personalized news, it is advisable for you to register and create an account. You have to select the UK locations you are interested in, for example, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Bristol, and many others. It is possible to choose three areas in total.
News and reports
This application will show you, first of all, publications dedicated to the selected settlements and territories.
The news feed is located on the main page of the utility. It is updated in real time. Here you can view publications from the police, government services, and local councils, as well as various reports and blogs.
There is a separate tab with all other articles dedicated to events in the UK.
Local community
Users can interact with the community and create their own posts about local events. They may report on the situation on the roads, accidents, emergency events, and so on. It is possible to create petitions.
There is a section for local information regarding roads, railways, property prices, and so on.
